The purpose of this formative assessment is to give teachers and students an idea of how well students can apply their understanding of data in a table to draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph of the data, and also use the information presented in a scaled bar graph to solve one and two step “how many more” and “how many less” problems.
